I'm super sorry for not posting here in forever. I just haven't felt up to talking about fashion or music or anything like that.
I think I might have to start another blog. One just for funny stuff. I won't call it 'comedy' or even slightly 'comedic', because I don't think that highly of myself.
Would it be weird to do a post about fish on here. I promise they'll be pretty ones.
Anyway, I'm going to try to update here more this summer. I'm still looking for a perfect picnic outfit. I missed the magnolia blossoms, but I've got some other blossom photos for you guys.
So many things are changing this summer. Jessica is joining the Navy, she ships off in July. Her mum is moving to Bracebridge, and I'm not sure where that leaves Jenn. I'm not sure if she's going to be moving in with her boyfriend this summer, or going up North with her mum for a while. I know she wants to stay at Seneca, though, as she finally got into Animation like she'd wanted.
---
I hope this summer ends with me dancing in slow motion to David Bowie's 'Starman'.

Immortalised in Art
So my awesome artist friend Kristin Wilkinson did a portrait of me for her Digital Imaging class.
She's an amazing artist, you should all go check out her stuff. I think my favourite part of this is my hair. I was totally having a bad hair day that day, but this makes me feel a whole lot better about it.
And if anyone asks, I totally sat for her for like a million hours for this.
---
By the way, since all of these pictures, I have dyed my hair dark brown and cut it, so I should post some photos of that soon.

Spring Shopping Oufit
This is an outfit that I wore out shopping with my mother a while ago. It was... three weeks ago, maybe? A month? I was taking a break from working on essays and I still had a boyfriend at this point, so...
Dress is Gap, from several years ago, jacket, tights, and tank are H&M (jacket is H&M Young)
The shoes are H&M also. I love them, they're so comfortable and versatile. The heart locket was a gift from my parents when I was 10 0r 11, the pearls were part of my mum's bridesmaid costume when she was younger, and the longer necklace (you can't see the pendant in this photo) is from H&M.
My mum and I went to StyleSense that day. I bought a pair of Guess high-heeled floral sandals (they're going to be so perfect this spring), and two pairs of Betsey Johnson sunglasses. Pics of my buys to be posted at a later date. I know, I'm super lazy, but I have essays to write.

Three legged dogs.
Sorry for not posting in about a million years, but I have been entirely too consumed by historical films and pretty Swedish girls.
I am inspired by bruises and coffee stains and French macaroons (not the sickeningly sweet American ones - coconut is something I grew out of many years ago).
I have been stockpiling pretty photos, so maybe I shall post something here soon.

Got No Human Grace
I was watching Les Yeux Sans Visage (1960) today, on The Auteurs, and I got to 83 minutes in, and it just stopped. I was very disappointed. I had been enjoying it very much. I had less than ten minutes left to watch, and it failed. Bugger. So I guess that means I have to rent it now, huh?
I guess I could. I need to watch the end of The Brothers Bloom as well. I really enjoyed what I saw of it. I heart Adrien Brody, and all of Rachel Weisz's outfits were so cute! Bang Bang was adorably eccentric, also.
Anyway, back to Les Yeux... The daughter, Christiane (played by Edith Scob) was an etherealy pretty little creature. Even with her mask on, she just had something about her, the way she moved and carried herself.
Also, the scenery was beautiful. There were all of these wonderful shots of Paris.
And there were, of course, all of the old-fashioned cars. This one was my favourite:
(Look at the apartment behind it with the tower room! I wish I lived right there!)
Anyway, that's what I've done today. I think I will now go watch the fourth episode of the new season of Skins, and then I'll be caught up.
PS - I'm super sad that I left my pink Essie nail polish at Junior's house. She's leaving for Jamaica tomorrow and last night I chipped my right thumbnail fastening Jenn's belt.
My webcam does not do this colour justice. It's a bright highlighter pink. It blinds me slightly every time I look down at my hands.
